Scope: VMH food composition is nutrient-level, so this resolves to the ~115 metabolites with a nutrient mapping (91 in the WBM diet definitions) — not the full small-molecule food metabolome.
A · Foods → WBM diet
Add foods with an amount; VMH composition converts them to dietary metabolite intake (g/day and mmol/day = g ÷ MW × 1000) — the same units the WBM's Diet_ uptake reactions use.
B · Metabolites → likely food sources
Given measured metabolites (VMH abbreviations), the foods richest in them by composition — the “what could explain this metabolite” direction. A composition ranking, not an inference that the person ate these foods.
Sources: reconws_food / reconws_nutritiondata / reconws_nutrient (food composition), reconws_nutrient_mets (nutrient → VMH metabolite), reconws_dietflux (the WBM dietary vocabulary + molecular weights). mmol/day = g/day ÷ MW × 1000. Composition is per 100 g of food as recorded; it does not model cooking, bioavailability or absorption — the WBM does that downstream once the diet is applied.
